How our “Quality Plus” auction Works

Woodruff Enterprises Inc. “Quality Plus” Equipment Auctions, work as a facilitator for both the “seller” and the “buyer” with our integrity and commitment to insure that both parties are treated fairly and equitable. By utilizing the latest technology and the time tested auction method of marketing, Woodruff Enterprises Inc., combines the excitement of a live auction with the ease and convince of on-line bidding. “Quality equipment is our committment” to ensure buyer and seller satisfaction, the equipment listed on a “Quality Plus” auction must meet our criteria standards.

Auction Preview

During the weeks prior to the auction, buyers from all over nation and all over the world will be able to preview your equipment and contact us with any additional information needed. Many will place automated bids through ProxiBid during this time.

Auctions are held on a regular basis
All buyers participate online or over the phone with a Woodruff Enterprises Inc. representative. Items come on the block just like in a typical auction and are offered for sale with the bidding process taking place in real time with live streaming audio & video along with the photos and the condition report available for immediate reference. back to top

Criteria

Farm Equipment:

Tractors / Combines:

• 10 years or newer or less than 5000 hrs.
• Must be in perfect working condition with good rubber and paint.
• Subject to overall condition.

Tillage Equipment:

• Must be field ready and with good appearance.

Transportation Equipment:

Semi Tractors:

• 5 years or newer with less than 450,000 miles with complete service records.
  
  
• Subject to overall condition.

Semi Trailers:

• Refrigerated units; 5 years and newer with less than 8000 hours on reefer unit, must be in road ready condition and with good appearance.
  
  
• Dry vans; 7 years or newer, must be in road ready condition and with good appearance.

Boats, Yachts & Recreational Vehicles:

• Special criteria and inspections will apply call or e-mail for more information.

Consign

Consign your vehicle or equipment by filling out our Consignment Agreement, or by contacting Woodruff Enterprises Inc. Your equipment remains on your property for the duration of the auction to eliminate transportation cost of your equipment.

Inspection

Independent inspection reports help buyers bid with confidence. Our inspectors will check your equipment at your location, and the report will be posted online for all bidders to view.

Tips for the Inspection
If you want to improve the ratings of your equipment during the inspection, there are several things that you can do prior to the inspection:

• Place the equipment in an open area where there are no obstacles for operating the equipment so that your equipment gets full credit for its operating condition.

• Remove any dirt or debris from the equipment and have the equipment cleaned. This will enhance the photos and help showcase your equipment.

• Make copies of any maintenance-related documentation to be handed over the inspector at the time of inspection.

• If you know of any problems with the equipment, have them repaired so that your equipment gets better ratings during the inspection.

• All equipment must meet “Quality Plus” criteria to qualify for the “Quality Plus” auction.
